Webinar:
How SiC JFETs Are Transforming Circuit Protection and Power Electronics
Solid-state circuit breakers (SSCBs) are redefining circuit protection and power system reliability with arc-free operation, faster response times, and extended life cycles. However, traditional silicon devices like IGBTs and MOSFETs often limit efficiency and thermal performance. In this expert-led webinar hosted by Mouser Electronics and onsemi, you’ll learn how silicon carbide (SiC) JFETs are transforming SSCB design. Discover how they deliver faster switching, lower conduction losses, enhance thermal efficiency, and enable easier integration for next-generation power electronics.
Tune in and learn:
- How SiC JFETs boost solid-state circuit breaker (SSCB) performance with faster switching, lower conduction losses, and improved thermal efficiency.
- What’s required to design compact, high-reliability SSCBs using SiC Cascode JFETs backed by real-world test data and proven engineering best practices.
- How gate driver compatibility enables a seamless transition from silicon to SiC, reducing redesign effort and accelerating product development in power electronics applications.
